Rediscovering a great toy

Sometimes your child will find a toy you bought several years ago and start playing with it all over again like a newfound treasure. At 5, he might see a toy with different eyes and a different set of questions than he did when he was 3. Having a good selection of quailty toys around the house (which requires fewer toys than you might think) helps create an enriching environment that resonates more than a whole lot more plastic battery operated toys can. I thought of this when Duncan rediscovered his spinning top and found a new fascination with it this morning. -dan
